Evans Prize
The Society is indebted to the generosity of Mr. Wm. T.
Evans for a prize of $300, the condition being that it shall
be awarded by the Jury of Selection for the most meri-
torious water color in the exhibition painted in this country
by an American artist, without limit as to age; the recipient
of the prize to be thereafter ineligible.
